Parenting with the Pros - High Energy or Hyperactivity? Diagnosing and Treating ADHD in Toddlers to Teens

All children have difficulty sitting still and focusing from time to time, but for some, these behaviors are suggestive of a condition known as Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder or ADHD. As parents, how do we know if our child is just high energy or if he or she is struggling and needs professional help?

At DePelchin's Parenting with the Pros event, child and adolescent psychiatrist Oscar Bukstein, M.D., will discuss the latest in diagnosis and treatment for ADHD, the rise in ADHD diagnoses and how parents can be their child’s best advocate both at school and at home.
