April is Child Abuse Prevention Month. It is a month where we as a community recognize the role and responsibility each of us plays in standing up for children who do not have a voice. DePelchin Children’s Center takes responsibility for that role in standing up for children’s well-being every day through our mental health, foster care and adoption services.

In 2014, there were 6,070 children who were reported victims of child abuse in Harris County. We invite you to stand with us for these 6,070 children and raise awareness about Child Abuse Prevention Month.
