Otter, Cynthia's Bio
Cynthia Otter is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and Clinical Supervisor at DePelchin Children's Center. Ms. Otter has 29 years of expertise dealing with family therapy, group therapy and individual therapy, along with specifically working with foster care and adoption. Ms. Otter takes a a relational based approach to helping families understand the specific needs of their children and adolescents. At the same time she helps children/adolescents to understand appropriate ways to express these needs and feel empowered within various settings like community, school, social and familial. Using Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Ms. Otter also helps children structurally understand how thoughts, feelings and behavior are connected and help us to make positive change. Ms. Otter holds a Bachelor of Science in Psychology from Montana State University and Master of Social Work from University of Montana.
