HOUSTON (November 21, 2014) – DePelchin Children’s Center supporters in team attire came to play at NRG Stadium, Friday November 21, for the second annual Friday Night Lights event, Teaming up for Children’s Mental Health.  The event sold out as jeans and bling mixed well with the more than 560 guests enjoying Friday night  fun in the stadium venue. There was something for everyone from playing football-themed games to dancing with the Houston Texans Cheerleaders to enjoying a wine pull, photo booth and big board auction.  Raffle tickets were hot sellers for the 14K white gold sapphire, London Blue topaz and diamond bracelet donated by I. W. Marks Jewelers.

Event Co-Chairs Audrey and Brandon Cochran and Kathleen and James Jennings in addition to Honorary Event Chairmen Hannah and Cal McNair and Abbi and Rob Antablin, were thrilled with the success.  Event Honorees, the new head coach for the Houston Texans, Bill O’Brien and his wife Colleen, were celebrated to great applause with Texans fans asking him football tidbits throughout the night. O’Brien spoke about their passion for helping organizations especially related to children.

Generating fast and furious bidding was a trip for two to the Kentucky Derby that had the crowd excited and generated even more funds for the DePelchin cause.
