DePelchin Children's Center Hosts Kickoff For Upcoming Saturday Night Lights Event

HOUSTON (September 16, 2015) – DePelchin Children’s Center supporters kicked off the upcoming November 21 Saturday Night Lights event at a private home in the museum district on Tuesday night, September 15.  The goal of the upcoming event is to raise funds and aware¬ness for DePelchin’s mental health, foster care and adoption services.

The Houston Texans Cheerleaders fueled the energy as guests arrived. Event Chairmen Lindley and Jason Arnoldy and Valerie and Tracy Dieterich in addition to Honorary Event Chairmen Kathleen and James Jennings and Founding Chairmen Abbi and Rob Antablin and Hannah and Cal McNair were pleased to introduce the Honoree for Saturday Night Lights, Jamey Rootes, President of the Houston Texans, and his wife Melissa.  They are strong advocates for kids and are passionate about making Houston a great place for all families.  President and CEO Jenifer Jarriel thanked guests for their support and discussed the impact this Houston-based nonprofit makes as the area’s largest provider of children’s mental health, foster care and adoption services.  The room buzzed when the exciting live auction items were announced especially the chance to buy a 2016 VIP Houston Texans Road Game Experience, generously donated by the Houston Texans and Hannah and Cal McNair.   This will be a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity for two people to fly with the Texans team on their private charter plane to an away game of their choice during the 2016 season.  Guests were also busy purchasing raffle tickets for the chance to win one of three beautiful pieces of jewelry graciously donated by I. W. Marks Jewelers for the event.
