The Holiday Project is an exciting time when our community makes the season brighter for DePelchin children. This year we have a large challenge ahead of us: not only to make the holidays memorable, but also to meet the needs of our children throughout the year.
Here are four ways you can make this dream come true for DePelchin’s children:
|
Sponsor a child/teen by supplying items on their wish list. This year, we are focusing our wish lists on children who live in our care, and, therefore, we have a limited number of wish lists. If you would like to fill a wish list, please contact our Holiday Project Coordinator at holidayproject@depelchin.org early and we will be happy to send you as many children’s names and wish lists as you would like to receive. These gifts will go directly to the children you sponsor.
Donate general items. For our children who need items both during the holidays and throughout the year, we have a general list of items from which you can choose gifts to purchase and donate for children who need them.
Make a cash donation. Cash donations will be used to purchase items such as diapers, clothing, and school supplies, as they are needed throughout the year. You can make a donation online or mail your contribution, marking it “Attention: Holiday Project.”
Volunteer your time. We need groups and individual volunteers to help sort gifts in December from 8 A.M.-5 P.M. Anyone 14 years of age or older is welcome. Volunteer slots are limited, so you must contact our Holiday Project Coordinator at holidayproject@depelchin.org to schedule a time. |
