DePelchin's Donation Station
The Donation Station is located at 200 Sandman Street, at the corner of Sandman and Augusta streets. Please deliver in-kind donations during the hours listed below or schedule an appointment for another time by calling 713-802-7755. If the Donation Station is closed, please schedule an appointment or deliver approved items to DePelchin's Kinder Program Services building at 4950 Memorial Drive, and a receptionist will assist you.

Donation Station Delivery Hours

 
  • 1:00 p.m. - 3:30 p.m.                    2nd & 4th Tuesday
  • 1:00 p.m. - 3:30 p.m.                    1st & 3rd Thursday
  • 10:00 a.m. - noon                         1st & 2nd Saturday

In-Kind Donation Acceptance Policy:
We gladly accept new and gently used items listed below from February through September. In the months of October through January, we only accept new items. Please do not leave donations outside the door of the Donation Station.
 
  • Children and teen items, toiletries, books, school supplies, new undergarments, linens, blankets, hygiene items, pantry items, any baby items, children’s and teen clothes, back packs, Disney movies, school uniforms, any other new items, and recreational tickets. 


We are unable to accept:

  • Vehicles, RV’s, real estate, animals, broken items, violent/inappropriate items, and items needing repair in order to work. In addition, we will not accept bulk loads or used or old adult clothes or a plethora of stuffed animals. Adult clothes are only accepted if teenage style. 

Top Needs
 
  • Socks, shoelaces and shoes for age 5-18 
  • School and art supplies 
  • Infant and toddler items
  • Board games (such as Monopoly, Sorry, Dominoes, CSI: Crime Scene Investigation, Checkers, Are You Smarter than a 5th Grader, puzzles, Connect 4, etc)
  • Children and teen movies (such as Disney movies, Transformers, 30 going on 13, Harry Potter, Cheaper by the Dozen, Batman, Twilight, Twister, X-Men, Marley and Me, etc)
  • Gift cards for school clothes and undergarments
  • Toiletry items (such as tooth brushes, hair accessories, soap, cologne, perfume, make-up, nail polish)
  • Children and teen books and magazines
  • Tickets to recreational activities (such as plays, music performances, museum tickets, circus tickets, sports shows, or other Houston events)
  • MP3 Players/IPODS (music therapy for RT children)
