We turn lives around

ASK ABOUT SUICIDE: TO SAVE A LIFE

ASK about Suicide: To Save a Life is a suicide prevention training program to help attendees learn the process of offering hope to prevent a tragic loss of life.  Participants will also learn how to ask about suicide, seek more information while keeping the person safe, and know where and how to refer for treatment.  Did you know that:

**Suicide is considered to be one of the most preventable deaths. **Approximately 2,500 suicide deaths occur in Texas.

**There are 1½ times more suicides than homicides, about 7 daily

**90% of those who die by suicide have an underlying mental health or substance abuse condition.
