DePelchin Welcomes New Staff Psychiatrist

DePelchin Children’s Center is pleased to announce the recent addition of staff psychiatrist Shannon Sniff, M.D., to its team of mental heath experts. Dr. Sniff specializes in treating a number of psychiatric disorders in children and teens, including mood disorders, anxiety disorders and ADHD.

A native Texan, Dr. Sniff graduated summa cum laude from Texas A&M University and earned her Doctor of Medicine at the University of Texas Medical School at Houston. After fulfilling her residency in general psychiatry at the University of Texas Medical Branch at Galveston, Dr. Sniff remained at UTMB to complete a two-year fellowship in child and adolescent psychiatry, during which time she also served as chief fellow.
